There are many things to do in the surrounding area - whether it's climbing the tower at Vouvant...swimming in the local lake....shopping in Nantes....pedalos at Mervent...walks in the Mervent forest...the Sunday markets...the night markets...a visit to the seaside...a day out at the Puy du Fou (not to be missed)....eating at a farm restaurant where all the produce, including the meat, is home grown...a quiet beer and meal in the local restaurant...or just a simple walk in the surrounding countryside, there is never a dull moment.
